Brittany Goods, Communication Fellow Alum

Communication Fellow Alum

Brittany is currently a postdoc in Alex Shalek’s lab. Her research interests include clinical immunology, developing systems to characterize human-derived interacting immune cells, and using transcriptional profiling to better understand immune cell states in the central nervous system. She was previously a PhD student in Chris Love’s lab, where she identified mechanisms of T cell dysfunction in multiple sclerosis and glioblastoma (brain cancer). She received a Bachelor of Engineering degree at Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry at Colby College. Britt was a teaching assistant for 20.380, Biological Engineering Design, in the spring of 2014 and is currently a teaching assistant for 5.64, Frontiers of Interdisciplinary Science in Human Health and Disease. When not in lab, she enjoys reading, watching terrible teen TV, and hanging out with her very lazy dogs.
