3rd year graduate student, Biological Engineering, Fraenkel Lab
Divya is a BE PhD student in Ernest Fraenkel’s lab. She grew up in Austin, Texas, where she earned a B.S in Biomedical Engineering and a B.A. in Plan II (Liberal Arts) from the University of Texas at Austin, and cultivated a deep love for tacos. As a NSF Graduate Research Fellow at MIT, Divya develops computational tools to study mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases. Outside of lab, she likes obsessing over colors, trying to learn the guitar off of YouTube, and designing K-12 STEM outreach activities.
