Postdoc, Biological Engineering, White Lab
Kristina is a postdoc in the White Lab and joined MIT BE in 2015. Originally from Denmark, the long-time happiest country in the world, she moved to Boston to experience the vibrant scientific atmosphere. Her research is focused on using mass spectrometry to study the signaling of receptor tyrosine kinases in cancer, drug resistance and metabolism. Kristina did her (under)grad studies in biochemistry and human biology and obtained her PhD from University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Besides her enthusiasm for the BE Comm lab initiative, she dedicates time to arrange career development events for the Boston-wide postdoc community through the Boston PostDoc Association. When not in the lab, she is often seen running along the Charles river, enjoying a concert or planning her next travel adventure.
