Katharine Greco, Communication Fellow Alum

Communication Fellow Alum

Katharine is a PhD graduate from the Brushett lab. She studied porous electrodes for applications in redox flow batteries, and is specifically interested in how material properties affect mass transport characteristics. Katharine obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she worked on diverse research projects pertaining to the energy field. When describing her work to friends and family, Katharine found she had difficulty conveying the information in an accessible way. This experience led her to recognize the importance of effective communication, about which she has been passionate ever since. When not conducting or chatting about research, Katharine enjoys hiking, running, and drinking hot beverages.
