Fourth-year graduate student
Alex is a graduate student in the Laboratory for Electromagnetic and Electronic Systems within RLE in the EECS department. He works in the Power Electronics Research Group, and is currently interested in advanced magnetic components for high frequency, high power density power conversion. Alex is originally from Salt Lake City, and completed his undergraduate studies in physics and electrical engineering at Dartmouth College. While there, he served as a TA for classical mechanics, electromagnetics, linear circuits, and digital electronics. When he’s not in the lab (and sometimes when he is), he’s likely to be found reading on philosophy, education, and economics.
