Andee Wallace, Comm Fellow 2016-2020

Comm Fellow 2016-2020

Andee is a graduate student in Biological Engineering in Chris Voigt’s lab, where she uses synthetic biology as a tool to develop biomimetic materials. Andee studied Bioengineering at Stanford University before spending a year working in industry at a biotech start-up (Bolt Threads) in the Bay Area. In the fall of 2015, she was the teaching assistant for 20.109, Laboratory Fundamentals in Biological Engineering. Outside of the lab she enjoys going to live music shows, discussing ways to promote gender equality in science (and in general), and chilling with her cat Minkis.
