Angela is a PhD student in the Wittrup lab, where she seeks to advance cancer and immunotherapy treatments by engineering proteins that leverage the chemical diversity of non-canonical amino acids. She grew up in New Jersey, before moving to Philadelphia to complete her Bachelors in Bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania. In her free time, you can find Angela doodling in her sketchbook, jogging along the Charles River, or doing her best to escape the city.
