Postdoctoral associate
Lauffenburger Lab, BE

Katarina DiLillo is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Lauffenburger Lab at MIT, where she uses computational systems biology approaches to explore how our immune system responds to infectious diseases. A New Jersey native, she earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan. While in grad school, she worked as a science communications intern at a biotech startup, creating written and visual content to highlight the company’s progress and new products for customers and investors. She’s passionate about making science more accessible, whether through careful data visualization or effective storytelling. When she’s not wrangling data, Katarina can be found making pottery, binge-watching reality TV, or hunting down the best coffee in New England.
