Leo Williams, 1st year graduate student

1st year graduate student
Stark Lab, BE

Leo Williams is a PhD student in the Stark lab, where he investigates altered glycosylation patterns to develop improved immunotherapies for brain cancer. Leo, tired of the Detroit winters, escaped to sunny California for his undergraduate, receiving a B.S. in Bioengineering from Caltech in March 2024. Leo is passionate about clear and fun scientific storytelling, believing, “your science is only as good as you can communicate it”. Outside of science, you can find Leo playing basketball at a local park or checking out the latest Marvel movie.
