Arjav is a graduate student in Chemical Engineering pursuing both a Ph.D. and an MBA. He is advised by Prof. Patrick Doyle and collaborates closely with researchers in Singapore to make biomanufacturing safer. Combining principles from nanofluidics and material science, his research focuses on the nanopore fingerprinting of viruses that contaminate cell therapeutic products. Originally from Surat, India, Arjav obtained his B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. He is passionate about effective digital communication and scientific communication to the public. Beyond research, Arjav enjoys Indian classical music, nature, playing cricket and tennis, and cooking.
