Communication Fellow Alum
Jennifer was an NSF Graduate Fellow in Chemical Engineering pursuing both a PhD and an MBA. She studied antisolvent crystallization kinetics, focusing on how solvent mixtures play a role in crystal growth and nucleation rates. She hopes to use her research to develop drug production processes more efficiently and more economically. Before MIT, Jennifer graduated from Clemson University, obtaining a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis on polymer science. She also spent three years working in the specialty chemicals industry, researching crystallization and filtration at Eastman Chemical Company. Beyond research and business, Jennifer enjoys baking desserts, hiking, photographing nature, and figuring out clever ways to retire early.
