Marjon Zamani is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Professor Ariel Furst’s lab in the Department of Chemical Engineering at MIT. She completed her B.S. in Physics from Haverford College in 2013 and her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University in 2021. Her work focuses on developing electrochemical biosensors for point-of-care diagnostics in low-resource settings. She has expertise in voltammetry, electrode fabrication and biomolecular interactions. She is passionate about teaching students how to effectively communicate their research through writing and presentations. Outside of the lab, Marjon enjoys hiking, biking and running.
