Communication Fellow Alum
Max was a Ph.D. student in Patrick Doyle’s lab. The goal of his research project was to design tools that help researchers and clinicians develop new drugs and diagnose patients. Working towards this goal, in lab he used microfluidics to fabricate hydrogels that can quantify biomolecules. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota (summa cum laude) with a focus on polymer science. When not in lab he enjoys running, reading, weightlifting, and playing the piano.
