Stephanie Gaglione, Communication Fellow

Stephanie is a fourth-year Ph.D. student and CIHR fellow in the Birnbaum group (BE) developing a virus-based platform to pair T cell receptors with antigens. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and her master’s degrees in immunology and molecular biology from the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. Pre-CommLab, Stephanie worked as a resume and career prep coach. Over the past few years as a CommLab fellow, Stephanie specialized in refining fellowship applications and personal statements from brainstorming to final submission. She has especially enjoyed working with clients preparing faculty packages and postdoc applications – from proposals to chalk talks. Stephanie coordinates lectures for the KI Grad Student Association and values a perfectly crafted narrative.
