Communication Fellow
5th year graduate student, Brushett Lab
Trent is a Chemical Engineering Ph.D. candidate advised by Fikile Brushett. His research focuses on innovative electrode fabrication techniques and cell architectures for developing lithium-ion batteries with electrolyte flow. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Trent received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Economics at Georgia Tech in 2019. While there, Trent worked with the Filler lab to advance selective surface chemistry techniques for patterning nanowire semiconductors. He also interned twice with ExxonMobil before transitioning to a full-time role as a Supply Chain Optimization Engineer upon graduation. Through this experience, Trent gained an appreciation for communicating technical concepts to non-experts. He is excited to share his insights, as well as explore his passion for visual communication. Outside of the lab, Trent enjoys playing soccer, backpacking, skiing, or just about anything that will get him outdoors.
