Communication Fellow Alum
Yamini was a Chemical Engineering PhD student in Prof. Grodzinsky’s lab (BE) co-advised by Prof. Hammond in ChemE. She hails from Hyderabad, India and received an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay. At MIT, she worked collaboratively with the Hammond lab and with Prof. David Liu’s lab (Harvard and Broad Institute) to design and optimize drug delivery systems for osteoarthritis. She has also served as a TA for 10.26/10.27/10.29 (Spring 2017) and was one of the three Chemical Engineering representatives at the GSC. Outside of lab, Yamini enjoys cooking, swimming, photography, learning new languages and having long intellectual conversations.
