Fourth-year graduate student
Chris is currently an NSF Fellow and a fourth-year PhD candidate within the EECS department, in Dirk Englund’s group. Previously, he graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in physics. While there, he was heavily involved as president of the Society of Physics Students. He loved interacting with his peers and hosting conferences, tutor sessions, and presentations. After graduating, he became a professional tutor in physics for 3 months.
In his free time, Chris enjoys working in Ashdown’s house government, watching superhero movies with friends, helping those same friends on their presentations, going on random adventures, and eating bad pizza. He recently pitched his research to a team of VCs, which was a terrifying and rewarding experience from which he learned much about communicating.
