Ravikishore Kommajosyula, Comm Lab Fellow

Comm Lab Fellow

Ravi is a Ph.D. student working with Prof. Emilio Baglietto in the Nuclear Science and Engineering department. His research focuses on developing a mechanistic model for heat transfer in flow boiling, which can be used to improve the efficiency of thermal systems. He did his Masters in Computational Science at the Technical University of Munich with a thesis on multi-scale fluid flow simulations.

Ravi became interested in communication during his time in the automobile industry, and is eager to bring a different perspective of writing and presentation to academia. He has a deep interest in mentoring and teaching, and has successfully designed and taught a new IAP course on how knowledge of Computer Science can be an enabler in Computational Research. In his free time, Ravi enjoys outdoor activities such as running, biking, and hiking.
