STAR Lab: using aritificial intelligence to improve beacon acquisition and tracking in optical communication systems
Celvi Lisy is a graduate student in Kerri Cahoy’s STAR Lab. She is passionate about aerospace engineering and became curious about satellite systems during her undergrad at Olin College of Engineering. AT MIT, Celvi’s research interests include space system design, optical communications, and the space environment. Her communication interests are broad across visual, oral, and written communication, and she has a particular passion for science policy. Outside of work, Celvi can be found outside hiking, running, biking, or throwing a frisbee!
