ARCLab: space situational awareness and space weather effects on satellites
Mia Tian is a PhD student and Draper Scholar in the Astrodynamics, Space Robotics, and Controls Laboratory (ARCLab). She earned her B.S. and S.M. from MIT in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. Her research explores technical and interdisciplinary solutions for solving the space debris problem. As a Communication Fellow, her interests lie in helping graduate students write applications, create interpretable figures, and develop storytelling with their communication. In her free time, she enjoys practicing and teaching wushu (kung fu), dancing, and taking care of plants.
