Aerospace Controls Laboratory: safe autonomy through the lens of reachability analysis
Nick Rober is an SM student in the Aerospace Controls Laboratory with a research focus on safe autonomy through the lens of reachability analysis. He has a broad interest in technical communication and helping students effectively communicate their work through conference and journal papers, posters, and presentations. Nick holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa, where he conducted research on path-following and adaptive control of underwater vehicles at the University of Iowa’s Cooperative Autonomous Systems Lab in collaboration with IIHR — Hydroscience and Engineering. Outside of work, Nick enjoys biking, hiking, and watching movies.
