Chandler is a fifth-year PhD student working with David Sontag and Caroline Uhler. His work focuses on advancing causal inference and machine learning, drawing motivation from applications in healthcare and systems biology. He enjoys the never-ending puzzles presented by figuring out the most effective way to communicate a set of ideas to a given audience. Chandler is from San Antonio, Texas, and received his BS and MEng degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. Chandler enjoys pretending to be a DJ, being jet lagged from too much travel, and long talks over coffee, wine, or a long walk outdoors.
