Jenny is a PhD student in Machine Learning under the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS) in the EECS department. Her specific research interests include statistics and probability, robust machine learning, and epidemic modeling. Before starting her PhD, Jenny got her dual bachelors from Duke University in Statistical Science and Computer Science. Outside of research, Jenny enjoys taking any opportunity she can to exercise her writing muscles, whether through journaling, poetry, or scientific writing. Random things that bring joy to her life include taking dance classes, playing volleyball, and exploring the lives arts scene in Boston (recently, BSO and stand-up comedy)!
