Maz Abulnaga, Communication Fellow

Maz Abulnaga is a fourth year PhD student at MIT advised by Polina Golland and Justin Solomon in the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab. His research interests are in applying machine learning and geometry processing to problems in medical image analysis. Maz is a recipient of the NSF Fellowship and received the Masters’ degree at MIT and the Bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia. He is also the co-President of the EECS GSA and is always looking forward to planning social and academic activities for the graduate student community. Outside of lab, you can find Maz playing pickup basketball at the Z center.
