Morgan Blevins is a PhD candidate in EECS and a member of the Multifuntional Metamaterials Lab, advised by Dr. Svetlana Boriskina. Morgan studies nanophotonics and light-matter interaction, with applications in energy harvesting and photodetection. She is interested in topological and 2D materials and in non-reciprocal light behavior. Morgan enjoys reading fiction, running along the Charles River and the Middlesex Fells trail, and working on NYTimes crosswords with friends! Before moving to Cambridge, Morgan attended Harvey Mudd College for her B.S. in Engineering and is originally from Bainbridge Island, Washington.
