Graduate Student
Xingjian Bai is a Ph.D. student at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL). His research focuses on generative modeling, with current emphases on causal video generation. He has participated in and presented at several international academic conferences, including NeurIPS, CVPR, and ICLR. He loves working on practical model design inspired by theory.
As a CommLab Fellow, Xingjian enjoys explaining science to broader audiences. As an undergraduate at the University of Oxford, he served as an ambassador for both the Department of Computer Science and the Mathematical Institute.
Outside of research, he spends his free time playing tennis and jogging.
