Andrea is a PhD candidate with research interests related to thermal-fluid science, energy and environment. As the MechE Video TA, she gained an appreciation for crafting impactful stories around technical information to engage a broader audience. Andrea holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Philosophy from The George Washington University and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT. She was a Geophysical Fluid Dynamics fellow at the Woods Hold Oceanographic Institution (WHOI). Outside of the office you can find Andrea running a bridge loop, running to grab coffee, or running across the street to pet a dog.
