Comm Lab Fellow
Elizabeth is a graduate student working in the Energy and Carbon Conversion Lab with Prof. Betar Gallant, where she uses electrochemistry to capture and convert CO2 into valuable chemicals and fuels. Originally from Wauconda, IL, she received her Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Energy Science and Policy from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!)
Elizabeth is passionate about using clear communication skills of all formats to convey the importance of scientific work to peers, policymakers, and the public. She is also the Co-Communications Director of the MIT Science Policy Review.
When she’s not in the lab, Elizabeth can be found tending to her many houseplants, attempting watercolor painting, or baking something sweet.
