Harry Liang, Comm Lab Fellow

Comm Lab Fellow

Harry is currently a PhD student in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at MIT. At MIT Photovoltaics Lab (ME) and SLI Group (CSAIL), he develops tools to accelerate energy materials R&D processes; more specifically, building suitable robotic, machine learning, and data management tools for labs to speed up their experiments and become ‘smarter’ with analysis. Having grown up in both Finland and China, he obtained his undergraduate degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.

At the MechE Comm Lab, Harry is excited to learn about your amazing ideas and here to help you deliver them effectively to your selected audience with a twist. Outside of work, Harry is a bold stand-up comedian, traveler, and part-time basketball referee.
