Alliance manager and science advisor
Jenna is an Alliance Manager at the Broad, providing a range of support for a large scientific collaboration with an industry partner. She also helps authors from around the world develop their manuscripts as a freelance science editor and writer. Jenna completed a PhD in Neuroscience at Sorbonne Université and postdoctoral training at Harvard University. As a researcher, she enjoyed thinking about how internal sensory systems detect and encode relevant information, aiming to understand how spinal cord neurons detect cerebrospinal fluid and how nutrients activate diverse sensory cells in the gut. From 2019 to 2021, Jenna worked with authors from across the life sciences as a scientific editor at Cell Press (Cell Reports), before joining the Broad Institute in 2022.
