Ipek Bensu Manav (she/her) is a postdoctoral researcher at the MIT Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and MIT Concrete Sustainability Hub. She researches pathways to achieve a resilient, sustainable, and equitable built environment in the face of natural hazards and climate change. She has contributed to the fields of risk assessment and life cycle analysis through journal papers, policy briefs, and online dashboards. She is passionate about communicating science to non-scientists.
