Haoran LiĀ is a postdoctoral associate in CEE at MIT. His research focuses on pavement design, sustainability, and resilience, integrating advanced modeling and data-driven approaches to enhance infrastructure performance and reduce environmental impact. He has presented his work at international conferences, including the International Conference on Concrete Pavements and the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting, and has authored multiple publications in Resources, Conservation and Recycling, Results in Engineering, and the International Journal of Pavement Engineering, among others.

As a CEE Communication Fellow, Haoran leverages his experience in academic writing, technical presentations, and grant proposals to support students in developing clear and effective communication skills. He has mentored both undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds, guiding them through research, technical writing, and professional development.

Haoran earned a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and holds a master’s degree from the University of Ottawa in Canada. He is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment and advancing the field through interdisciplinary collaboration.
