Sid Pai, 5th Year Graduate Student

5th Year Graduate Student
Atmospheric Chemistry and Composition Modeling Group

Sid is a fifth-year PhD student in the Atmospheric Chemistry and Compositional Modeling Group, where his research is focused on modeling the sources and atmospheric impacts of different air pollutants. He received his bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering from MIT in 2014, following which he managed a social enterprise in India that worked with waste-picker cooperatives to implement inclusive recycling solutions. Sid returned to CEE for graduate school in 2017 and is particularly interested in the development of air quality and climate assessment techniques that can inform environmental policy decisions and private-sector resource allocation. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, playing pick-up sports and grabbing a casual beer at his favorite bar.
