Fifth-Year Graduate Student
Ben is a fifth-year PhD candidate and Rickover fellow specializing in multiphase Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). His research focuses on the development of a new bubble-induced multiphase turbulent closure relation to improve reactor thermal-hydraulic predictions. He holds a B.S. in Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering from the University of Illinois in addition to a M.S. in Nuclear Science and Engineering from MIT. When he is not thinking about bubbles, you can probably find him at the Z Center training for his next Colorado ski trip.
