Alexis (ah-lex-e) is a graduate student investigating the properties of high-performance superconductors under irradiation for the ARC reactor. He joined Dennis Whyte’s laboratory for innovation in fusion technology with a European Joint Master’s Degree in Engineering Physics and lots of hands-on experience in the field. Alexis enjoys technical collaborations across cultures, after having worked on research teams in Korea, Spain, France, Costa Rica and the Czech Republic. Heads up: always looking for an adventure he will take you up on an improvised 600-mi bicycle ride or a walk across Berlin in the middle of the night!

Alexis is currently a third-year graduate student, available for quals coaching only right now
