After being a client herself for several years, Monica joined the NSE Communication Lab during the first year of her MS. She completed her Master’s research with Prof. Emilio Baglietto, assessing the performance of two-phase closures to represent subcooled flow boiling in M-CFD. After graduation, she joined the thermal-hydraulic team at TerraPower, analyzing and simulating fluid flow and heat transfer in reactor systems. As a Comm Lab alum, Monica will continue to be committed to improving communication, by working on her own skills and with others.
