Caitlin Stier, Communication Lab and Career Services Manager for Chemical Engineering, is a recipient of the 2025 School of Engineering Infinite Mile Award. This award is designed to recognize those individuals or teams who have made extraordinary contributions within their own organizations to help the Institute carry out its mission.
Caitlin Stier works with a team of Fellows to foster oral, written, and visual communication skills in the ChemE community. She brings over ten years of experience working as a science communicator and producer in publishing, broadcast, and education. She earned a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Smith College and an M.S. in Science Journalism from Boston University, where she also served as a graduate writing fellow.
Caitlin’s commitment, energy, and enthusiasm are apparent through her sincere commitment to supporting students’ and postdocs’ professional development and career exploration. She continually pushes herself to innovate and deliver resources with utmost polish while developing holistic communication training experiences.
