The NSE Communication Lab is full of wonderful resources, but its greatest asset is its people—from the clients who trust us with their ideas and questions, to the Fellows who lead coaching, workshops, and events. Along with discipline- and department-specific knowledge, every Fellow brings a broader perspective to their work, and those perspectives, in turn, help the Comm Lab and its clients grow.
To that end, I am thrilled to congratulate NSE Fellow Rachel Bielajew on being named to the MIT Office of Graduate Education’s 2023 cohort of “Graduate Women of Excellence.” The award, given biennially, honors recipients’ leadership and service contributions at the Institute, their dedication to mentoring, and their drive to make changes to improve the student experience. We in the NSE Comm Lab commend the committee for recognizing Rachel’s extraordinary contributions in these areas.
